I’m Kiki Fraikue, and I work across fashion, graphic design, and art direction.
My journey started in college with fashion design, and during my first year at university, I began creating visuals for my brand, Erasure Clothing. This led to my first graphic design opportunities, where I started to explore and expand my creative range. Now, as the founder of Erasure Clothing and Design Director at Our Era Magazine, I lead the visual direction of both print and digital platforms. I also freelance for clients like Arsenal FC, Wall Street Mafia, and Kids of the City, with my work appearing in British GQ across three issues. An opportunity that helped elevate my profile and connect me with a broader creative community.
My work spans runways, galleries, and theatre spaces. One of my dresses was showcased during the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical at Theatre Royal Plymouth, worn by Amy Di Bartolomeo for the gala. I’ve also been interviewed by BBC Radio Devon about my work with Erasure and featured in iLoveCreatives as one of their '10 Junior Creatives with Inspiring Portfolios.'
With a British-Ghanaian and Scottish heritage, my identity is anything but one-dimensional, and my work reflects that complexity. Whether it’s fashion, layouts, or campaign visuals, I draw on a mix of influences: race, place, culture, and the experience of growing up between worlds. Storytelling, identity, and emotion are at the core of my creative process. Every project, whether it’s a collection, print, or brand direction, is driven by meaning. I’m deeply influenced by poetry, and that rhythm feeds into the heart of my work. It’s not just about how things look, it’s about what they hold.
I’m confident across both digital and physical design, from concept to execution, working in Adobe Suite, Blender, and Procreate. I approach every project with a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset, whether I’m building something from scratch or contributing to an existing vision. From runway shows like INSTINCT to art exhibitions, logos, capsule collections, and album art, I’ve had the chance to develop a wide range of creative projects.
Still figuring it out, but I know what I’m about. I’m just getting started.
